The IUIS Congress is the world’s leading conference in the field of immunology. II brings together more
than 5,000 immunologists from universities, health providers, independent research organisations, and
industry.

The IUIS 2023 Congress, Cape Town, South Africa, from 27 November-2 December, promises to be a
landmark occasion for Africa and the global immunology community. This will be the first time such a
meeting is being held in Africa and is also the first such in-person meeting after the start of the COVID-19
pandemic. The Congress is hosted by the IUIS, the Federation of African Immunological Societies (FAIS),
